Making it to today is a major milestone. When we found out we were having twins and due August 4th, we worried that they might decide to make an appearance in June. And for my husband, this would not have been a good thing. See, he's in sales and June is not only the end of the quarter, it's also the end of their fiscal year. This means that no one is to take any PTO (paid time off) in June. It's all hands on deck and long days. So, we are very thankful to have made it through June (yes, there are two more days, but it's the weekend) with no early arrivals.
For the record, if the babies would have decided to come this month, his place of employment would have made an exception to the no PTO rule. But, it would have caused so much stress. So, today we breathe a big sigh of relief. We made it.
