"Let thankfulness temper all your thoughts...a grateful attitude becomes a grid through which you perceive life."
I struggle with knowing how to answer the question, "How are you feeling?" Usually, I just say good. Even if the truth is that I'm exhausted, achy, grumpy, etc. And I often am all of those things. We have waited for this so long and wanted it so badly that I don't want to complain about the symptoms I am so thankful to have. On the other hand, most days I don't necessarily feel "good". But, I want to be thankful that my hips, ribs and tailbone hurt, that I can't sleep at night and that indigestion and heartburn are starting to get the best of me. I want to be thankful even if/when I do not feel like it.
